Candidate for Bayview Walk condominum
Vision Statement
Our condominium is more than a building—it is our home, a shared community, and a significant investment. It comes with a shared responsibility: managing our property, finances, and community with thoughtful stewardship. It is not only about addressing immediate concerns, but about ensuring long-term stability, value, and livability.
The quality of governance in our building directly influences all these factors.
As owners, you elect Directors to act on behalf of the entire community. This is an important legal and fiduciary responsibility. Board members must act honestly, in good faith, and in the best interests of the condominium.
The Board’s role is not simply to respond to individual concerns as they arise, but to provide thoughtful oversight and direction—balancing competing interests, managing resources responsibly, and ensuring the corporation operates in a financially sound and legally compliant manner.
Strong governance also benefits from community participation. Many owners have valuable skills and perspectives, and there should be opportunities for owners to support the Board through committees or collaborative involvement in areas such as finance, maintenance, or community activities.
Our community is diverse, with a range of perspectives and priorities. This diversity is a strength when approached through respectful and constructive dialogue.
I encourage engagement by owners in ways that support thoughtful decision-making and a strong community.
